Blog for a day I drew a blank
Couldn’t get a word onto the screen this morning, so I went deep into the closet to dig into dusty boxes pushed off into a corner. By the time I came out of the closet, I was not alone. A fun find indeed! The hunt turned up more stories inspired by my kids in growing up. (Of them and me). Geoffrey’s Backyard I wrote for my first born as he anticipated his first snowfall, Folded inside it was the poem that was later read at his engagement dinner.
The Christopher Stop series was written for the next born. A treasure chest of mischief and humor, Christopher's each new day is packed with surprising adventure.
Mother’s Wedding Dress was written for them both in capturing their enthusiasm as they navigated their way around the newcomer in their lives.
I smiled and sat to read them and the slew of others that turned up that day.
